Late last month at the ASIS 2011 trade show in Orlando, Florida, Contronics Technologies launched it's latest product, part of the Remote-i product range called the Remote Wi-Fi.

The concept for the Remote Wi-Fi is simple, staff using any compatible Guardus device is able to transfer the information from the remote site to the companies head office or Contronics Technologies Guard On-Line platform without the requirement of a computer.

Using Wi-Fi technology that is now available in most commercial environments, the Remote Wi-Fi requires no additional infrastructure and is easily installed on most Wi-Fi networks.

The set-up of the unit is also very easy with the Remote Wi-Fi configuration tool. Some network information may be needed from the IT department that manages the network however the step-by-step makes it easy for anyone to get running.
