Guardus G3 V8 is on the cutting edge when talking about Guard Tour Systems.  Guardus G3 V8 is a resistant data collector, also known as wand by its users, which works based on touch memory technology,  known as iButtons.

The basic idea behind Guardus G3 V8 system consists on placing the iButtons at the different places where the guard must go through, known as checkpoints. The guard, carrying the Guardus G3 V8, makes contact on the iButton. In that moment the G3 V8 wand registers the iButton name, date and reading time. Later on, the information collected can be downloaded to a PC where complete and easy to understand reports are generated.

The system is used by:
• Security companies that intend to offer a qualified service to their clients, being able to deliver accurate activity reports. At the same time the system gives them the ability to control their own guards;
• Alarm monitoring, demonstrating efficiency attending alarm calls;

Does Guardus G3 V8 work?
• It`s powered by a single 1,5V battery;
• The tour route schedule and checkpoints to be visited are set up;
• iButtons are placed at the points to be visited by the guards;
• Alerts the guard each time a new tour must begin;
• Informs through signals that the guard concluded his tour;
• Informs the supervisor, visiting the installation, if the tours are being done in accordance to the initial set up;
• When needed, Guardus G3 V8 can be downloaded into a computer, enabling the visualization of complete tour reports.

Obtained results:
• Name of the guard that performed the tours;
• Date and time the guard visited each checkpoint;
• Sequence of visited checkpoints;
• Tour occurrences (recorded through the Events Wallet);
• Tour verification by the supervisor and if it was OK or not.
• Complete follow up of the guard history activities.
